Ch. 01 · The story

What it's about

Spoiler level: Minor — for the synopsis & review below

Giju is capable in most areas of life, but repeatedly invests her care in men who mistreat her. During an argument with another disappointing boyfriend, she falls down the stairs and lands in hospital. When she wakes, she can see relationship reviews written by people's former partners. The new ability seems like protection against another disastrous choice, yet Giju still has to decide how much those accounts reveal and what she wants for herself.

Ch. 02 · Our verdict

My take

The review-window concept is clever because a warning about someone is not the same as understanding them. Giju's history gives that distinction emotional weight. The opening combines an enticing romantic device with an uncomfortable pattern of exploitation. It is most promising when her judgment matters as much as the supernatural information she receives.

✓ Read it if…

The premise invites you to form an opinion and then question it. You can enjoy the suspense of checking someone's reputation while considering whether an ex's account is helpful, incomplete, or shaped by a relationship that no longer exists.

! Skip it if…

The opening includes partner abuse and a heroine who has financially overextended herself for boyfriends. That starting point can be distressing or frustrating, especially if you need firm boundaries immediately rather than a gradual process of learning them.
