What it's about

Spoiler level: Minor — for the synopsis & review below

Ophelia Lizen wakes in a rainy forest inside the body of a novel's villainess and immediately wants a divorce. Her husband, Duke Sylvester Lizen, is unexpectedly fond of her despite the original Ophelia's obsession with the crown prince. He agrees to separation only if she first seduces that same prince, who already despises her. Determined to escape the villainess's ending, Ophelia tries to behave better while performing a scheme that keeps pushing her toward political trouble. The more she learns about Sylvester's motives and their marriage, the less certain she becomes that divorce is the freedom—or the ending—she actually needs.

Ch. 02 · Our verdict

My take

Ophelia and Sylvester turn the escape-the-marriage setup into an entertaining contest of intentions. Her confusion and his cheeky resistance give the couple lively chemistry, while the crown-prince condition adds absurdity to their negotiations. The bright artwork suits the farce, although Sylvester's control over the divorce makes the flirtation harder to enjoy if you want Ophelia's freedom treated as a serious priority.

✓ Read it if…

The leads have lively married-couple energy from the start, so there's no long wait for chemistry. Ophelia is rewriting a villainess role while Sylvester seems to know more than he says, and the seduce-the-crown-prince condition sparks farce, jealousy, and politics at once. It's a fun romance with an already-invested husband, now on a break after Season 2.

! Skip it if…

Sylvester restricts Ophelia's attempt to leave, which can feel controlling rather than romantic. Her impulsiveness and repeated misunderstandings also complicate progress; readers wanting a realistic divorce narrative or a low-jealousy relationship may find the deliberately playful framing uncomfortable.
