Ch. 01 · The story

What it's about

Spoiler level: Minor — for the synopsis & review below

Marcia wakes as the cruel older sister in a fairy tale about Lalisa, an abused girl whose valuable diamond tears attract a prince's rescue. Knowing that the original Marcia abandoned her sister and met a villain's ending, she refuses to run alone. Her new plan is to take Lalisa away from their exploitative family and deliver her safely to the prince before the story's suffering can unfold. Escape proves more complicated than arranging a meeting, and the people around the sisters do not behave like simple fairy-tale roles. As Marcia builds a safer home, her protective scheme develops into found family, healing, and an unexpected romance of her own.

Ch. 02 · Our verdict

My take

The emotional core here is sisterhood rather than the search for a prince: Marcia's first real decision is to take Lalisa with her, and small moments of food, rest, and reassurance do the healing. Peachpie's soft art suits both the fairy-tale imagery and the domestic scenes. The romance is slow and some antagonists are broadly cruel. It's most effective when Marcia realizes she can't simply hand her sister to the "correct" male lead.

✓ Read it if…

You get the satisfaction of rewriting a doomed story while the focus stays on practical care: Marcia acts decisively, Lalisa heals gradually, and the growing household becomes a convincing found family. The gentle romance never competes with the sisters' bond, and Marcia keeps her own goals throughout.

! Skip it if…

Child abuse and exploitation drive much of the plot, and the villains are one-dimensional. Powerful allies make later obstacles feel less threatening, and the secondary romance moves slowly. Despite the cozy direction, expect danger and recurring reminders of Lalisa's trauma before it becomes fully reassuring.
