What it's about

Spoiler level: Minor — for the synopsis & review below

Magazine reporter Geunyeong Lee loses her job after a disastrous encounter with superstar Who Joon and becomes convinced that his influence ruined her career. Her public protest earns her a reputation as his most visible anti-fan—and an offer to appear with him on a reality program built around their hostility. Forced to share space for the cameras, Geunyeong sees the exhaustion, control, and old wounds hidden behind Who Joon's polished image. He, in turn, discovers that the woman attacking his brand is more vulnerable and principled than expected. Their manufactured conflict becomes dangerously real affection under constant public scrutiny.

Ch. 02 · Our verdict

My take

So I Married the Anti-Fan uses familiar celebrity-romance ingredients, but the reality-show setup gives the enemies-to-lovers turn a useful stage. Their banter is strongest when neither holds full power, and the entertainment industry adds pressure to every rumor. Who Joon isn't always considerate, and darker side plots feel less resolved than the main romance. If you accept melodrama, the chemistry and public-image tension are very bingeable.

✓ Read it if…

The reality-show premise creates constant forced proximity and chances for private tenderness to contradict the broadcast image. Geunyeong is stubborn enough to challenge a celebrity used to control, and Who Joon's loneliness deepens his arrogance. It's an easy weekend binge for fans of idol settings and glossy romance.

! Skip it if…

The power imbalance and Who Joon's early treatment of Geunyeong are hard to romanticize. Side relationships involve manipulation and jealousy without much recovery, the plot leans on coincidences and media scandals, and the couple's communication keeps regressing to prolong tension.
