What it's about

Spoiler level: Minor — for the synopsis & review below

Yoonsoo works an ordinary office job while secretly publishing successful fantasy novels as Wasser. Before she can move on to a new series, the prince she wrote as a villain drags her into his world and demands a different destiny. She expects her knowledge and writing ability to give her control, but reality refuses to follow every instruction. With unfamiliar dangers appearing beyond her original plot, she must cooperate with the man whose suffering she once treated as fiction.

Ch. 02 · Our verdict

My take

The author-versus-villain premise gives this older fantasy romance an entertaining reason for its couple to argue. Yoonsoo’s limited control and the prince’s responsibilities make the adventure more engaging than a simple wish-fulfillment setup. Their growing affection has devoted fans, but the chemistry is divisive, and the comparatively plain art and convenient fantasy resolutions keep it from fully delivering on its strongest ideas.

✓ Read it if…

The prince can challenge Yoonsoo about choices she made without ever considering their consequences for a living person. That gives their banter an extra layer: she has to understand her antagonist as someone with responsibilities and attachments, while he gradually reassesses the woman behind his misfortunes.

! Skip it if…

The relationship begins with kidnapping, threats, and confinement, which the later romance asks readers to move beyond. Some emotional transitions and magical solutions happen quickly, so readers seeking gradual trust-building or tightly explained rules may find the execution less persuasive than the premise.
