Mystical

Garam once dreamed of becoming an artist, but grief after his mother's death has stalled both his work and his sense of direction. He moves into his grandmother's vacant seaside home, hoping solitude will help him begin again. Instead, he discovers a luminous water being with no memory of her origins. Garam calls her Myst and begins painting her, first as an extraordinary muse and then as someone whose safety matters more than inspiration. Their quiet bond draws attention from people who know more about Myst's species and past. The search for her identity forces both of them to confront what it means to love someone who may not belong on land.
